Last updated October 18, 2026. Version cw-privacy-terms-2026-10-18-v2.
Agreement
These Terms of Play are an agreement between you and Lucky Duck Productions LLC, an Oregon limited liability company, 5416 Running Y Rd Ste D, Klamath Falls, OR 97601 (we, us). They cover Klamath Living Craft World (the game) and its website. By playing you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must agree to them for you and is responsible for your use of the game. If you do not agree, do not play.
Who can play
The game is for players 13 and older. A child under 13 may play only on an account their own parent asked us to make, with the parent's signed consent (see the privacy policy). During the beta, accounts are by invitation only and are made by our staff.
Your account
- One person per account. Do not share your password or use someone else's account.
- Choose a player name that is not your real full name and is not rude, hurtful or pretending to be someone else. We may change or remove a player name that breaks these rules.
- Tell us right away if you think someone else knows your password.
- You do not own your account. We may close inactive accounts after giving notice where we can.
The Rules of the Basin
- Be kind. No bullying, harassment, hate, threats, or sexual content of any kind.
- Leave other people's builds alone, and the town's.
- No fire, lava or TNT near anyone's build.
- Keep chat friendly: no bad words, spam, scams or links, and never share personal information (phone numbers, emails, where you live or go to school), yours or anyone else's.
- Do not ask other players to meet in person or to move to another app or website.
- No cheating, hacked clients, bots, or attempts to break, overload or get into the game or its server.
- Do not pretend to be staff, a sponsor or another player.
- See a problem? Type
/report <player> <what happened>. Players can't jail each other./block <player>stops someone reaching you.
Moderation and enforcement
All chat and messages are recorded and may be reviewed by our moderators for safety, as the privacy policy explains. Our moderators answer reports within 24 hours. Depending on what happened, we may give a warning, hold or remove messages or builds, mute chat, send a player to the in-game jail for a short time (never more than 2 minutes), or suspend or permanently ban an account, with or without notice, and we may remove access for anyone who puts other players at risk. Our automatic filter only holds messages for a person to check; it never punishes anyone by itself. To ask us to look at a decision again, email troymiller@luckyduckproductionsllc.com.
What you build
You keep any rights you have in what you build or write in the game. So that we can run and share the game, you give Lucky Duck Productions LLC a free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, copy, display, adapt and show your builds and in-game creations inside the game and in pictures and videos of the game world, for as long as they remain in the game and for promotional material already made. We never use a player's name in promotion without permission (a parent's permission for a minor). Builds stay in the shared world: we may move, change or remove builds that break these terms, block a town, or need to make way for game updates, and the world may be reset during the beta. Do not build anything you do not have the right to use, such as another company's logo.
Coins, items and rewards
- Basin coins, badges, levels, outfits and other in-game items have no cash value. They can never be bought, sold, traded for money, cashed out or transferred outside the game.
- They are a limited license to use inside the game, not property. We may change, rebalance or reset them, especially during the beta.
- A sponsor prize found in the game (if offered) is free, needs no purchase, has its own official rules shown with it, and is provided by the sponsor. Coins can never be exchanged for a real-world prize.
Sponsors and advertising
Klamath Living Craft World is free because local businesses sponsor it. Sponsors appear in the game as signs, shops, characters and offers, the same way advertising appears on social media and other free platforms. We choose sponsors with families in mind. A sponsor's offer, product or website is the sponsor's own responsibility, and anything you buy from a sponsor is between you and that sponsor. A sponsor never receives your chat, messages or personal information from us.
The game and our software
The game runs on the open-source Luanti engine with open-source game content, credited in the game (/credits), under their own licenses. Everything else in the game and on its website, including the map, artwork, characters and names, belongs to Lucky Duck Productions LLC or our licensors. You may take screenshots and share them for non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell or run the game elsewhere, or remove credits or notices.
Beta, availability and changes
The game is in beta: features may change, break, pause or end, and we may restart the server, take it down for maintenance or change the rules of play at any time. We may update these terms; we post the new version here with a new date, and keep playing means you accept it. If a change is significant, we will also tell players in the game.
Disclaimers
THE GAME IS PROVIDED FREE, "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS. We do not promise that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that builds or progress will be kept. We are not responsible for what other players say or do, or for sponsors' websites, products or offers.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, LUCKY DUCK PRODUCTIONS LLC AND ITS OWNERS, STAFF AND CONTRACTORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST DATA, PROFITS OR PROGRESS, ARISING FROM THE GAME OR THESE TERMS, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Your responsibility
If you are an adult and you break these terms or the law while using the game, you agree to cover Lucky Duck Productions LLC's reasonable costs of claims by others that result, including reasonable attorneys' fees.
Ending your use
You can stop playing and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing troymiller@luckyduckproductionsllc.com. We may suspend or end your access for breaking these terms or to protect players, the game or the law. The sections on what you build, coins and items, disclaimers, limitation of liability, your responsibility and the law that applies continue after your access ends.
Law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts serving Klamath County, Oregon, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. Before going to court, please email us so we can try to fix it together.
Everything else
These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement about the game. If a part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part right away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them to a successor of Lucky Duck Productions LLC.
